Plot Synopsis

Created by the American Athletic Conference, each year from 2014-20016 this annual college football game was played at Marlins Park, featuring one of its own conference teams and an opponent from either Conference USA, the Sun Belt Conference or the Mid-American Conference -- but independent institutions and schools from other conference across the country also have the ability to participate. In the inaugural MIAMI BEACH BOWL, Memphis beat BYU 55-48 in 2OT on Monday, December 22, 2014, as 1.32 million viewers watched the game on ESPN.
