Plot Synopsis

Starting with $1 million, two contestants work together to answer a series of multiple-choice trivia questions and try to lose as little money as possible for their incorrect answers. Each pair of contestants is given $1 million in cash and the money is theirs to lose. For each multiple-choice question, a series of possible answers is revealed and the contestants must agree how to allocate their money amongst the possible answers within a certain time limit. Once time has expired, the contestants immediately lose any money they did not allocate. Then, each wrong answer is revealed, and the money placed on that answer falls through a trap door -- lost forever. If the pair places no money on the correct answer, the game is over and the contestants go home with nothing. But if they they put any cash on the right answer, they have that much for the next question. As the game progresses, the questions get harder and the answers become fewer, but after seven questions any cash left on the table is theirs to keep.
