Plot Synopsis

MILWAUKEE BLACKSMITH is a half-hour reality series that follows Kent Knapp and his three sons -- Miles, Birdie and Ozzie -- as they make their living in the 5,000-year-old craft of blacksmithing. Behind the power of his 100-year-old screw press and 135-year-old anvil, Kent built this Milwaukee-based business from the ground up. From bank vaults to bike frames and any large steel piece their customers can dream up, there's nothing this family can't forge. Kent has made it his mission to pass the trade down to his kids, hoping that they'll step up and carry the business into the future. But they're going to have to work hard for it and come together as a team, which for these adolescent brothers, skilled as they are, is an uphill battle. In the season opener Kent and his sons take on a commission for a one-of-a-kind Death Star firepit. Then, in the next episode, the Knapps pay tribute to the city's rich brewing history by attempting to build a giant steel beer bottle for the annual Brewfest. Plus, the family needs Birdie to save the day, if he doesn't quit first.
