Plot Synopsis

THE MISSING is a short-form docuseries that chronicles the true stories of unsolved missing persons cases. Each 10-minute episode features a different person, including: Tyler Davis, who went out and was seen on surveillance walking across a hotel parking lot; Kristal Reisinger, who sought spiritual enlightenment, but vanished after heading to a drum circle; Elaine Park, who spent the night away from home in Santa Monica and was never seen again; Matthew Weaver Jr., who took a late night drive and went missing. After two 10-episode seasons as a web series on ID GO, THE MISSING made its linear television premiere as a half-hour series on Monday, October 5, 2020 at 9pm ET/PT on Investigation Discovery. Each 30-minute episode is comprised of content from two webisodes.
