Plot Synopsis

MR. PICKLES is a 15-minute, animated comedy that centers on the lives of the Goodman family and their innocent six-year-old son Tommy, whose best friend is the family's lovable Border Collie, Mr. Pickles. The two get into classic adventures as they roam around Old Town, a small, old-fashioned place that is slowly being taken over by the modern world. Unbeknownst to Tommy and everyone else, except Tommy's Grandpa, Mr. Pickles has an evil streak and frequently wanders off to kill, mutilate and hump his deserving victims. But the one thing everybody knows about the sweet and adorable dog is that he loves pickles and he gets one every time he's a good boy. Guest voices in the 10-episode first season include: Iggy Pop as a cowboy bounty hunter; Tracy Morgan voicing a 90-year-old, Caucasian, wannabe rapper; Amy Sedaris; Joey Lauren Adams; Dave Foley; John Waters; and more.


Season 2 of MR. PICKLES premiered at Midnight ET/PT on Sunday, April 17, 2016 on Adult Swim. In addition to following Mr. Pickles, the second season takes a closer look at some of Old Town's other residents, as viewers tide along with Sheriff as he tracks down a group of escaped serial killers. They hang out with the Deer Hunters on their hunt for an elusive rare deer, or sit back and enjoy some Astronaut Dolphin Detective, the show within the show. But Mr. Pickles is never too far away from the action. This lovable and friendly dog still finds time to brutalize, hump and murder his victims, all in between spending time with his best friend and companion, Tommy Goodman.


Adult Swim premiered the third season of MR. PICKLES on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Midnight ET/PT, as the cable channel debuted back-to-back new episodes:

"Brain Download" (Midnight): Grandpa found his dead wife alive with Mr. Pickles. Now, Mr. Pickles' dark secrets are in jeopardy when Tommy attempts to download his Grandma's memories.

"Momma's Boy" (12:15am): When Mr. Bojenkins finds that Sheriff is a momma's boy, he decides to teach Sheriff how to be a man.

Season 4 of MR. PICKLES premiered on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Midnight ET/PT, as Adult Swim debuted back-to-back new episodes:

"The Tree of Flesh" (Midnight): After Mr. Pickles frames Grandpa for murder, Sheriff learns of Grandpa's whereabouts and heads out of the country to track him down; Grandpa has a new determination to end things with Mr. Pickles once and for all.

"Hats" (12:15am): When Floyd eats Sheriff's hat, Sheriff becomes convinced that nobody will respect his authority without it.
