Plot Synopsis

Created by the Los Angeles-based comedy group Dr. God, MOCKPOCALYPSE is a half-hour, talking-head comedy series that features a panel of comedians riffing about the hottest topics and trends in the music industry. Whether they are reminiscing about rock's biggest meltdowns or providing their own humorous takes on what makes a good rock duo, these comedians offer their own unique perspectives on the world of music. In addition to members of Dr. God, this series also includes appearances from comedians and actors such as Brody Stevens, Dave Holmes, Ryan Stout, Abe Benrubi, Jamie Kaler, Kevin Heffernan & Steve Lemme, Stevie Ryan, and many more. AXS TV premiered MOCKPOCALYPSE on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 8:30pm ET/5:30pm PT as part of its "Seriously. Funny." Thursday-night lineup.

After a five-month break, MOCKPOCALYPSE returned with new episodes on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 11pm ET/8pm PT on AXS TV. In the fall premiere episode, "Classic Rock," top comedians, actors and writers talk about the culture of classic rock and just what makes it classic. Next week, the talking heads take on soundtrack songs.
