Plot Synopsis

After a 14-year break, THE MOLE returns in a re-imagined version of the original series. Hosted by Alex Wagner, this competition series follows 12 players, who work together in challenges to add money to a pot that only one of them will win at the end. Among the players is one person who has secretly been designated "the Mole" and tasked with sabotaging the group's money-making efforts. In the end, one player will outlast their competition and expose the Mole to win the prize pot. THE MOLE debuted on Friday, October 7, 2022 on Netflix, as the streaming service released the first five episodes, followed by three episodes on October 14 and the finale two installments on October 21.

Featuring new host Ari Shapiro, the 10-episode second season of THE MOLE debuted on Friday, June 28, 2024 on Netflix, which released the first five episodes. New episodes drop on Friday, July 5 (3 episodes) and July 12 (2 episodes). In Season 2, 12 players work together in challenges to add money to a pot that only one of them will win at the end. Among the players is one person who has secretly been designated "the Mole" and tasked with sabotaging the group's money-making efforts. In the end, one player will outlast their competition and expose the Mole to win the prize pot. This season, there are more competitors whose entire day-to-day jobs are about sussing out the truth -- from a bona fide web sleuth to a forensic accountant -- and others who are used to reading a motley crew of personalities. On Friday, July 12, 2024, Netflix released the final two episodes of THE MOLE's second season:

"Night at the Museum": The remaining players must demonstrate their robbery skills in a seemingly impossible mission before the quiz that reveals the finalists' names.

"Who Is the Mole?": The last mission becomes the final chance to gather the decisive clues. The eliminated players return to crown the winner -- and unmask the Mole.
