Plot Synopsis

MOM & ME is a half-hour reality series that follows mother-and-son duo Karrie and Tristan Trowbridge, as they combine their skills to restore neglected houses in Bend, Oregon. While Karrie claims the general contractor and designer roles, Tristan is her worksite muscle and protege. From beat-up bungalows to lackluster log homes, together they find and transform overlooked properties into one-of-a-kind homes. On Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 2pm ET/PT, HGTV premiered the pilot episode, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, Karie and Tristan renovate an outdated ranch house in central Oregon. They don't always see eye to eye, so they decide to collaborate on some areas and divide up duties on others. Karrie literally raises the roof and designs a stunning new kitchen and second bathroom, while Tristan creates the perfect outdoor space for entertaining. Nineteen months later, MOM & ME returned for its official series premiere on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 11pm-Midnight ET/PT, as HGTV debuted back-to-back new episodes:

"Goodbye '70s" (11pm): Foster parents ask Karrie and Tristan to update and improve the layout of their rural home. The duo creates a pizza party-friendly kitchen, updates the 1970s disco bathroom and adds new bedrooms for the kids.

"Midcentury Mod" (11:30pm): A young couple planning to start a family enlists Karrie and Tristan to renovate their entire midcentury modern home. The team reworks almost the entire floor plan to create more functionality, as well as a private master suite with a luxurious bath.
