Plot Synopsis

Inspired by Khon dance drama and Thai martial arts, MONKEY TWINS is a drama series the centers on Khon performer Neua -- a fighter scarred by the past -- who joins forces with a determined undercover cop, Mawin, to battle an organized crime ring that traffics drugs. The series opens with undercover cop Mawin hiding with a Khon troupe, where he suspects a feud between one of its members and a local politico's son. Neua's buddy Pheuak grows suspicious of Mawin and confronts him. Politician Chanchai races to stay one step ahead of the police, who raid his home. Chanchai threatens Phong's family to secure the incriminating footage of Taycho. Neua asks Kla to resume teaching him a once-forbidden martial art. Mawin seeks to pin down Chanchai's informant. Taycho uses his father's connections to strike at Kla through a land scheme and provoke Neua to fight. The 13-episode first season of MONKEY TWINS was released on Saturday, September 1, 2018 on Netflix.
