Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Billy Gardell and filmed in front of a studio audience in Las Vegas, this one-hour weekly syndicated series, based on the Monopoly board game, serves as a companion to the multi-state lottery game of the same name. The studio audience is comprised of winners of the Monopoly Millionaire's Club lottery game who registered their tickets online and won a four-night, five-day trip for two to Las Vegas. During each 60-minute episode, five contestants are selected at random from the studio audience, and they play games based on different features of the Monopoly board game, such as Community Chest, Electric Company, and Advance to Boardwalk. Contestants can win up to $100,000 in each these games, but in the final round one person can choose to keep their winnings or risk it all for the chance at a $1 million prize. MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES' CLUB was originally scheduled to premiere on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 8pm, but debuted nearly two months later on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 7pm ET or later that night (check local listings) in most cities or the following day in other places. MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES' CLUB returned for its second season the weekend of Saturday, September 12, 2015 (check local listings for channel and time), as host Billy Gardell and local game co-host Todd Newton return to Las Vegas to help make more and more millionaires. This season, MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES' CLUB is filmed on a new, custom-built soundstage -- located adjacent to Bally's Las Vegas on the Strip -- that is the largest in Nevada and atop the largest LED floor ever used on a TV series. In its first season, the series gave away more than $5 million in cash and prizes to contestants and audience members, and awarded two $1 million grand prizes to individuals from the Georgia Lottery and Rhode Island Lottery, which sets a record for the most cash any television game show in history has given away in its first season.
