Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by HOME IMPROVEMENT's Tim Allen and Richard Karn, MORE POWER is a half-hour reality series that features hosts Allen and Karn -- along with woodworking do-it-yourself YouTube star April Wilkerson -- tackling the supercharged history of tools, celebrating the coolest, most powerful, and iconic examples of tools, while showcasing their evolution of power from handheld and basic to the industrial and mighty -- testing the limits in a way that only Tim can. They'll also head out into the field to play with some of the biggest machines that power and serve our everyday lives and meet the men and woman who operate them. Along the way, Tim invites some of the most skilled makers into his shop from across the country, tasking them to create mind-blowing, specifically tailored innovations to fit his needs -- because there is always room for improvement. Episodes include:

"Power Under Pressure" (Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 10pm): Tim Allen, Richard Karn, and April Wilkerson show what's possible when you put power under pressure. With a little help from their friends at Bobcat, the team gets into the driver's seat of a fleet of heavy machinery to show the power, agility, and precision possible with hydraulics. Finally, Tim challenges an expert maker to build him a pneumatic-powered mechanic's creeper and gets more power than he can handle!

"Blades" (Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 10:30pm): Tim Allen, Richard Karn, and April Wilkerson dissect the mighty power of blades. Starting in Tim's workshop, they show what happens when a hand gets caught in a garbage disposal, and make a home-milling machine that you can build yourself. Later, they hit the road to check out massive industrial blades, including a metal-shearing guillotine and a mega-shredder that tears up 600 cars an hour. It's cutting edge stuff!

"Lights & Lasers" (Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 10pm): Tim Allen, Richard Karn, and April Wilkerson set their sights on light and lasers. In Tim's workshop, the team attempts to foil a mission impossible style security grid created by a pair of laser experts, Tim and Richard hit the road to witness industrial-strength lasers carving up slabs of steel, and April cooks an egg with a super powerful flashlight.

"Magnets" (Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 10pm): Tim Allen, Richard Karn, and April Wilkerson feel the attraction of magnets. In Tim's workshop, they use magnets for several helpful hacks and Tim tangles with ultra-powerful rare earth magnets. Then Richard and April head out to a scrapyard where they battle it out to see who can snag the biggest chunk of metal in a supersized crane game.
