Plot Synopsis

From Los Angeles, Hollywood legend Peter Bart presents interviews, insider opinions and real insights to the movie business. Each 30-minute episode features an in-depth interview with an actor or director talking about current projects as well as their whole career, including the following celebrities: Charlize Theron, Sir Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams, Kenneth Branagh, George Clooney, Stephen Daldry, Danny DeVito, Michael Mann, Nick Nolte, Max Von Sydow, Ewan McGregor, Jonah Hill, Gore Verbinski, Armie Hammer, Don Cheadle, Jay Roach, John Cusack, Roger Corman, and more. Starting in January 2012, MOVIE TALK first aired locally on KNBC in Los Angeles on Saturday nights at 1:30am, shortly after SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. Later in the year, on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 10am, Encore presented the nationwide premiere of this series in the United States.
