Plot Synopsis

Set in the emergency room of a hospital, MUMBAI DIARIES 26/11 is a one-hour drama series that explores the challenges faced by the medical staff at the hospital as well as other first responders across the city of Mumbai in dealing with a crisis of immense magnitude. On November 26, 2008, ten highly trained terrorists -- armed with machine guns and explosives stuffed in their backpacks -- left a boat at the Gateway of India and unleashed death and destruction in South Mumbai. The same day, Diya, Sujata and Ahaan arrive at Bombay General Hospital as the new residents, while their assigned mentor, Dr. Kaushik, is leaving soon for another hospital, in a bid to save his marriage with Ananya. As several bodies start coming in, the residents witness the scale of what is to come. In this battle to save lives and heal others, the ones doing the fixing are the most broken. The entire eight-episode series dropped on Thursday, September 9, 2021 on Amazon Prime Video.
