Plot Synopsis

Cat behaviorist Jackson Galaxy travels across America to help feisty felines curb their kitty habits and mentor couples so they can rescue themselves from their pet nightmare. Using cat toys and training aides, Jackson forms a personal connection with problem kittens so he can investigate why these cute cats turned into unruly felines. Then Jackson works with the cats and owners together, drawing on his 15 years of experience and proven training techniques perfected at countless animal shelters. Following an all-day marathon (9am-8pm) of older episodes, Animal Planet aired the Season 4 premiere at 8pm ET on Saturday, April 6, 2013, featuring these two stories: a deaf and blind that stops using its litter box, while becoming hostile toward its owners -- and a new kitten; and a cat that feuds with a dog, forcing a couple to put its family plans on hold because of their pets' violent relationship. MY CAT FROM HELL returned for the first part of its fifth season on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 8pm ET/PT on Animal Planet. In the Season 5 premiere, "Sky Dive Nightmare," a professional skydiver is being terrorized by Wolfie, his Maine Coon, who is notorious for pooping all over the house and then covering up the evidence with his belongings. After a three-month break, MY CAT FROM HELL returned for its seven-episode sixth season on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 8pm ET/PT on Animal Planet, immediately following an all-day marathon (9am-8pm) of encore episodes. This season, Galaxy returns to familiar territory with new cases in Austin, Los Angeles and San Diego, as he gets whisker to whisker with the cats on their turf, and things get mighty catty: a bloodthirsty cat in Austin attacks its guardian's clients and threatens her at-home business; a urine-crazed feline in LA forces her owners to wear facemasks to avoid the pungent smell; and for the first time, Galaxy encounters a cat that may not fall for his trademark slow blink technique that thus far has tamed the most ferocious felines. On Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 8pm ET/PT on Animal Planet, MY CAT FROM HELL returned for a new 10-episode season, with Jackson continuing to correct cat behavior and improve relationships between felines and their guardians. This season, Jackson travels from coast to coast assisting cat families who need help establishing a harmonious living situation. Jackson's first client of the season is model and social media star Adrianne Curry and her menacing cat, Billy Shears. When Billy isn't playing with his poop or meowing at all hours of the night, he's destroying their 1920s art deco apartment with his scratching. Jackson also counsels other high-profile cases, including the Internet-famous Jimmy Slap cat and a former Real Housewife of Orange County, who is dealing with a different kind of cat fight! Plus, Jackson deals with a kitten that refuses to make friends with the litter box (possibly because its owner insists on dressing it up) as well as a cat obsessed with licking its humans and a couple who is held prisoner by a bloodthirsty feline. The 10-episode seventh season of MY CAT FROM HELL premiered on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 8pm ET/PT, immediately following an all-day marathon (7am-8pm) of encore episodes. In the season opener, "Crazy Cat Opens Doors," Jackson counsels a couple who admit they are worried for their baby when their cat, Sebastian, becomes increasingly aggressive - so aggressive he even injures Jackson. Then, with the strategic use of catification and playtime, Jackson teaches a guardian how to satisfy his Savannah hybrid's natural hunting instinct indoors...instead of outside in coyote territory. Jackson also works with a door opening wild cat, Zeus, who is threatening to leave his owner. Plus, Jackson shares a "My Cat from Heaven" story about a lifesaving cat from Ohio. On Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 9pm ET/PT, Animal Planet premiered a new season of MY CAT FROM HELL. This season Jackson helps guardians fall back in love with caring for their best friend. He works with a couple hesitant to have children due to their cats' behavior, a family who bought a bi-level house just to keep their cats separated, and, in an absolute first, Jackson encounters a cat guardian with an extreme cat phobia. Plus, in order to save the lives of 50 kittens due to overcrowded shelters, Jackson enlists renowned kitten expert Hannah Shaw to drive 16 hours with him from Los Angeles to Colorado's Boulder Humane -- the shelter where he got his start -- which has agreed to take them in and find them loving homes. The series' segment, "My Cat from Heaven," returns with heartwarming stories exemplifying the healing power of the feline, including a cat and his guardian who lift each other's spirit as they both fight chronic diseases, a cat who brings comfort to hospital patients of all ages and a young cat who becomes a surrogate to foster kittens. In the season opener, "Scout's Honor," Scout is so afraid of its tormentor, Caramel, that he literally lives inside a kitchen cabinet. Plus, a woman adopted a hybrid Bengal cat who can use the toilet but can't keep otherwise keep still.

Animal Planet premiered a new season of MY CAT FROM HELL on Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 8-10pm ET/PT. This season, Jackson goes far and wide across the U.S. to get up-close and personal with all-new families with all-new stories as he tries to rehabilitate felines with behavioral issues and the cat owners who don't understand them. The season kicks off with back-to-back episodes and continues each Saturday night. During the season, Jackson faces one of his greatest cat challenges when an old friend and animal welfare expert enlists his help to create a community movement and to recruit a new generation of volunteers to save feral cats in Philadelphia. Other stories include Jackson helping to shine a light on a prison program called Meow Mates that integrates foster cats into corrections facilities to help rehabilitate inmates; and working with a foster guardian desperate to save a cat from being euthanized in an episode with one of the most miraculous MY CAT FROM HELL outcomes in the history of the series. Additional stories this season include Jackson coming to the aid of a Delaware-based veteran suffering from PTSD whose therapy cat seems to bring him far more stress than comfort, and a high stakes situation where Jackson encounters the vicious claws of a troubled cat terrorizing a family as they are about to bring home a newborn baby.

MY CAT FROM HELL fans can check out the mid-form companion series on social media, My Cat from Heaven, featuring more inspirational and feel-good stories. This is a season where Jackson connects with remarkable cats in some of the most extreme circumstances, leading to incredibly heartwarming experiences, both for him and the cat guardians he encounters along the way.

In the two back-to-back episodes to kick off the new season:

"Posey the Terror" (8pm): Jackson faces the highest stakes of the series when he experiences the vicious claws of a troubled cat who's terrorizing a family about to bring home a newborn baby. Jackson meets an inspirational cat named Skinny, as well as Cole and Marmalade.

"Pee Battle" (9pm): Jackson deals with a mother daughter duo, whose lovable cats are having a terriential pissing match that's destroying not only their furniture but also their relationship; The Cat Daddy connects with Cat From Heaven, Ziggy, who has CPR skills.
