Plot Synopsis

Bud DeYoung and Carrie Cramer run the DeYoung Family Zoo in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, where they care for over 400 permanent residents and rescue exotic animals from around the globe while rehabilitating local wildlife. They live and work together as they run this struggling small business, but they make it work because they share such a deep passion for animals as well as an indefatigable work ethic. Nat Geo Wild first aired MY LIFE IS A ZOO as a 60-minute special on Monday, April 26, 2010 at 10pm.
