Hosted by TV legend David Letterman, MY NEXT GUEST NEEDS NO INTRODUCTION is a one-hour monthly talk show that features Dave interviewing global figures while taking excursions with his guests away from the studio. On Friday, January 12, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the first episode, "It's a Whole New Ball Game Now," as former President Barack Obama reflects on political tensions and his family's life after the White House, and Dave visits Selma with Rep. John Lewis. In subsequent installments of this six-episode series, Dave visits with George Clooney, Malala Yousafzai, Tina Fey, Jay-Z, Howard Stern, and more.

Netflix released the five-episode second season of MY NEXT GUEST NEEDS NO INTRODUCTION on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, featuring: Kanye West, who opens up about family, bipolar disorder, his Sunday Service gatherings and the backlash over his support for Trump; Ellen DeGeneres, who reflects on some of the toughest and most gratifying moments of her life; Tiffany Haddish, who lights up the stage as she talks Dave through her journey from foster care to the bar mitzvah party circuit to big-time movie roles; Lewis Hamilton, who looks back on his scrappy beginnings and gives Dave the thrill of a lifetime on the racetrack; and Melinda Gates, who breaks down big global challenges and explains why it's vital to get more women in tech.

On Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the entire four-episode third season of MY NEXT GUEST NEEDS NO INTRODUCTION, during which David Letterman visits with: Kim Kardashian West, who walks Dave through key moments from her life, including the O.J. trial, a Paris robbery, her law studies and a White House visit; Robert Downey Jr., as the "Iron Man" star opens up about his showbiz childhood, addictions and comeback, then introduces Dave to the animal menagerie at his Malibu home; Dave Chappelle, who, in a rare interview near his farm in Ohio, reflects on his unconventional career, his family and the power of community; and Lizzo, who invites Dave to lay down a track at her home studio as they chat about flutes, protests, her time working with Prince and more.

Season 4 of MY NEXT GUEST NEEDS NO INTRODUCTION debuted on Friday, May 20, 2022, as Netflix released the entire six-episode new season. This time, David Letterman interviews: Billie Eilish, who discusses inspiration, influences and imposter syndrome -- and even manages to work in a little go-karting and Auto-tuning; Will Smith, who recalls his rap origins, the lasting impact of his parents, spiritual explorations, and one very fateful night at Quincy Jones' house; Cardi B, who splits a chopped cheese in a Bronx bodega with Dave and chats hooky parties, hip-hop, parenting, political science and protesting injustice; Ryan Reynolds, who makes pizza for Dave while he discusses his youth in Canada, early days as an actor, life as a father and love of Welsh football; Kevin Durant, who goes one-on-one with Dave in basketball, shuffleboard and conversation as they cover family, focus, trash-talking, social media and more; and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who takes Dave fishing and talks growing up with two families, serving Gumby tea on SNL and reality overtaking fiction with VEEP.
