Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Nicole Byer and Jacques Torres, NAILED IT! HOLIDAY! is a series of NAILED IT! holiday episodes, as home bakers with a terrible track record take a shot at recreating edible holiday masterpieces for a $10,000 prize. The contestants must deal with with missing ingredients and impossible asks, often leaving their desserts that look delightfully sad. Joining them at the table are comedians Ron Funches, Lauren Lapkus, and Jason Mantzoukas, magician Justin Willman, and baking experts Gemma Stafford and Sylvia Weinstock over the course of seven episodes. The series opens with "Jingle Fails," as a Christmas baking miracle occurs when the contestants make a cake pop nativity, followed by a cake with an upside-down Santa. Then, in the second of seven holiday episodes, "Winter Blunderland," the hapless bakers tackle a trio of wintry animal doughnuts before attempting an edible ski scene -- and it all goes downhill from there. On Friday, December 7, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released all seven holiday episodes.

Netflix released the six-episode second season of NAILED IT! HOLIDAY! on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT. Season 2 guest judges include: Maya Rudolph, Jillian Bell, David Burkta, Bridget Everett, Jason Mantzoukas, and Ron Ben Israel.

In the season opener, "We're Scrooged!," the bakers pay homage to "A Christmas Carol," creating cupcakes with cookie ghost toppers and a hilariously haunting bust of Ebenezer Scrooge. Then, in the second episode, "A Classic Christmess," time-honored traditions take a delightfully terrible turn with hand-painted cake-pop ornaments and a fruitcake featuring fan-favorite Wes. Next, in "Shalo-many Fails!," a menorah made of jelly-filled doughnuts, a cake shaped like an inflatable bear, and the first celebrity contestant? This Festival of Lights is lit.
