Plot Synopsis

Based on true events and created for television by Yoon Jong-bin and Kwon Sung-hui, NARCO-SAINTS is a drama series that centers on an ordinary entrepreneur, who joins a National Intelligence Service (NIS) secret government mission to capture a Korean drug lord operating in South America Suriname. The story opens with Kang Ingu going to scope out the factory for his potential new business venture, but he soon finds himself caught in a turf war. A local pastor offers his help. Reluctant to hire a lawyer, Ingu considers a deal proposed by a secret agent. He expands his influence in prison, hoping to trick an ex-bodyguard. Netflix released six episodes of NARCO-SAINTS on Friday, September 9, 2022.
