Plot Synopsis

NASCAR HAMMER DOWN is a series of 15-minute profiles of NASCAR drivers, as each rising star reveals their hobbies, interests, and family, while showing what life is like on the circuit. Each quarter-hour episode feature a different driver, including: NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Darrell Wallace Jr. (age 21), who gives viewers the lowdown on life at the track, his love of photography, and how he is paying homage to NASCAR great Wendell Scott at an upcoming race; NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Ryan Blaney (age 20), who shows viewers around "Race City, USA," discusses why everyone in NASCAR is one big family, and continues his ongoing prank war with Bubba Wallace; and other drivers, like NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Sunoco Rookie of the Year leader Kyle Larson (age 22) and NASCAR K&N Pro Series East driver Kenzie Ruston (age 23). Season 2 of NASCAR HAMMER DOWN premiered on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT on NickToons, with a brand-new 11-15-minute magazine format and a new host: 14-year old Karsyn Elledge, the granddaughter of NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt and Terry Elledge. The eight-episode second season takes viewers to the speedway and back with fun interviews, pranks, celebrity guests, race follies and fun facts. Additionally, each episode features humorous interstitials with a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) curriculum.
The eight-episode third season of NASCAR HAMMER DOWN premiered on Friday, September 23, 2016 from 9:30-10pm ET/PT, as NickToons debuted back-to-back new episodes. This season, Karsyn is joined by her sister, Kennedy Elledge, for driver interviews, goofy antics and behind-the-scenes insight into the technology and people that propel more than 90 annual NASCAR national series events. In the season opener (9:30pm), "The NASCAR Hall of Fame," Karsyn and Kennedy check out how firesuits are made, Bubba and Blaney take on a sour candy challenge, and Martin Truex Jr. is in the Rapid Fire hot seat. In the night's second new episode (9:45pm), "TMNT 400 Special," Karsyn goes behind the scenes with an all-access pass to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle 400 in Chicago.
