Plot Synopsis

Narrated by Indigenous actor Michael Spears, NATIONAL PARKS: USA is a one-hour docuseries that explores iconic parks in the United States, focusing on each location's wildlife, landscapes and Indigenous histories, while highlighting their cultural and ecological significance for future generations. Each 60-minute episode focuses on a different park, including: Katmai National Park & Preserve (Alaska); Everglades National Park (Florida); Yellowstone National Park (Wyoming); Olympic National Parks & Forest (Washington); and Zion National Park (Utah). The five-part series debuted on Sunday, September 8, 2024 on National Geographic Channel with back-to-back episodes from 8-10pm ET/PT and and streamed the next day on Disney+ and Hulu. Two more episodes debuted on National Geographic Channel the following week (Sunday, September 15) from 8-10pm, followed by the finale on September 22 at 8pm.

On Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 8pm ET, National Geographic Channel premiered "Zion," the finale of NATIONAL PARKS: USA, which highlights the soaring cliffs, canyons and water that shaped a diverse wildlife refuge in Zion.
