Plot Synopsis

In this one-hour reality series, adventurer Sean Duggan travels the world, seeking out deadly creatures transformed by the forces of weather by adapting to their extreme environments. On his journeys, Duggan seeks the help of local experts to help him investigate how weather came to shape these wild beasts. In each 60-minute episode, Duggan travels to a different location, including: Costa Rica, where he comes face-to-face with a monster born from the jungle, the Brazilian Wandering Spider; Thailand (and then Arkansas), where he investigates the giant snakehead fish in its native (and adopted) habitats; Australia, where he enlists the help of Dr. Mitch Ladyman, a local herpetologist and ecophysiologist, to determine whether a mysterious creature is simply a legend or a relative of the Australian Tiger Snake that has adapted to the harsh weather of the continent's extreme southern coast; and many more places around the world.

On Monday, November 9, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT, Weather Channel premiered the season finale of NATURAL BORN MONSTERS. In the season ender, "Eastern Cougar," recent sightings suggest that the ferocious Eastern Cougar has resurfaced in the United States, even though the feline was hunted into extinction nearly a century ago.
