Plot Synopsis
NATURE'S STRANGEST MYSTERIES: SOLVED is a half-hour series that features footage of fascinating animal behaviors that raise intriguing questions examined and answered by a team of experts. Each 30-minute episode uncover the answers to three questions about some of the strangest and most extraordinary mysteries in the natural world, such as:
- Do fish predict earthquakes?
- Why would a rattlesnake lose its rattle?
- How can birds sing without opening their beaks?
- Why would a tiger shark make friends with a human?
- Why does a spider light up like a Christmas tree?
- Why does a wild animal deliver unwanted newspapers?
- Why would a raccoon scale a 25-story skyscraper?
- How could a mother duck have a flock of 76 ducklings?
Using demonstrations, experiments, and first-hand experience, the experts -- including biologist Dan Riskin, zoologist Lucy Cooke, wildlife expert Bradley Trevor Greive and marine biologist Andrew Nosal -- unpack each mystery to reveal the explanations behind these remarkable behaviors.
