Plot Synopsis

This spinoff of NCIS centers on the NCIS New Orleans office, which handles cases from Pensacola through Mississippi and Louisiana to the Texas panhandle. Leading the team is Special Agent Dwayne Pride (aka 'King'), a native of NOLA who is driven by his need to do what is right. Working with Pride is Special Agent Christopher LaSalle, who plays hard but works harder; and Special Agent Meredith 'Merri' Brody, a charismatic and tough interrogator who transferred from the Great Lakes office in search of a fresh start. Supporting them is coroner Dr. Loretta Wade, who is as eccentric as she is smart. NCIS: NEW ORLEANS first appeared as a two-part backdoor pilot on Tuesday, March 25 and April 1, 2014. In the "Crescent City" episodes of NCIS, Gibbs reunited with his former colleague, NCIS Special Agent Dwayne Cassius Pride, in a joint case between the two field offices and the FBI when the body of Congressman Dan McLane, a former NCIS agent, washed ashore in New Orleans. This series had its official series premiere on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT, as CBS aired the "Musician Heal Thyself" episode. In the opener, a case turns personal for Pride when the body of a Petty Officer is identified as a former gang member he once mentored. Meanwhile, Brody continues her search for the perfect place to call home in New Orleans. NCIS: NEW ORLEANS returned for its second season on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT on CBS. In the season opener, "Sic Semper Tyranis," Pride and the team plan a dangerous undercover operation to retrieve a stolen missile and prevent an attack on a U.S. Naval ship after a military convoy is bombed on a New Orleans bridge. Dr. John guest stars as himself. Season 3 of NCIS: NEW ORLEANS premiered on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT on CBS. In the season opener, "Aftershocks," the NCIS team partners with several federal agencies to track a sniper who is targeting crowded events in the city. Also, FBI Special Agent Tammy Gregorio (new cast member Vanessa Ferlito) arrives to investigate Pride and his team.

On Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 10pm ET/PT, CBS premiered the Season 3 finale of NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, with Steven Weber returning as Mayor Hamilton and Derek Webster guest starring as FBI Assistant Director Isler. In the season ender, "Poetic Justice," unable to trust anyone in New Orleans, the NCIS team calls in FBI Assistant Director Isler to help expose and stop the sinister scheme Mayor Hamilton has planned for the residents of Clearwater. Two months earlier -- on March 23 -- CBS renewed NCIS: NEW ORLEANS for a fourth season.
