Plot Synopsis

Featuring footage from cell phones, drones, home security cameras and more, NEIGHBORHOOD WARS is a half-hour docuseries that showcases the kindness and conflict between real-life neighbors throughout the United States. With a record number of Americans trading city life for homes in the suburbs, relationships between neighbors are being put to the test. This series takes viewers into the homes and backyards of neighbors across the country with some of the most unexpected and emotionally charged events caught on camera. Each 30-minute episode features multiple stories, including the first two episodes, which debuted back-to-back from 10-11pm ET/PT on the night the series premiered.

On Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 10-11pm ET/PT, A&E premiered "Top 10 Showdowns," a one-hour NEIGHBORHOOD WARS special that takes a look at the most memorable neighbor confrontations from the first season.

NEIGHBORHOOD WARS returned for its second season on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 10-11pm ET/PT, as A&E debuted back-to-back new episodes. In the season opener, "Don't You Be My Neighbor" (10pm), a Maryland woman allegedly sets her home on fire while a neighbor is inside, sitting in a lawn chair to watch it burn; in Phoenix, a man calls for backup from his friends after arguing with his neighbor over car noise; and when a Florida neighborhood is threatened by an angry alligator, a hero with a recycling bin steps in to save the day. Then, in the second episode, "No Shirt, No Shorts, No Problem" (10:30pm), shirts come off and the fists fly in Plattsburgh, New York when best friends and neighbors become sworn enemies; a Bothell, Washington, porch pirate receives an instant dose of karma while making her getaway across wet grass; and an officer in Madison, Wisconsin, gets the surprise of his life when he pulls over a self-proclaimed superhero in a thong.

Season 3 of NEIGHBORHOOD WARS premiered on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 9-10pm ET/PT, as A&E debuted back-to-back new episodes. In the season opener, "Lobster Roll Wrecke" (9pm), a neighbor's noise complaint is a terrifying experience for a New York couple; in California, a neighbor sees red when she catches two guys cooking lobster on private property; and in New Jersey, a woman is shocked when neighbors drag up secrets from her past and use them to taunt her and her family. In the second episode, "Sunset Flip Out" (9:30pm), an Arkansas woman is creeped out when her neighbor installs a gate in his fence that opens directly onto her backyard; in California, a poolside confrontation between neighbors takes an unexpected twist; and, a teacher's loud and elaborate efforts to engage his online students risks angering the neighbors.

The fourth season of NEIGHBORHOOD WARS debuted with back-to-back new episodes on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 9-10pm ET/PT on A&E. In the season opener, "Get Off the Sidewalk" (9pm), a neighbor pushes a 12-year-old for riding his bike on the sidewalk in Santa Ana, California. One woman's dream of a secluded life in rural Kentucky turns sour when neighbors lay claim to a strip of her land. And a mom home alone in Portland, Oregon, makes a shocking discovery when she finds a stranger sleeping in her bed. In the night's second episode, "Elevator Screamer" (9:30pm), in Twin Creeks, Indiana, two couples take on the neighbor who is making their lives a misery. An Arizona family wakes in horror to discover an intruder in their home. And when the resident of an apartment building objects to a contractor using the elevator, she creates an ear-piercing commotion.
NEIGHBORHOOD WARS returned for its fifth season on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 with back-to-back new episodes form 9-10pm ET/PT on A&E:

"Quit Videotaping Me" (9pm): A neighbor feud turns nasty when the woman next door takes a hammer to an Illinois family's security camera. Neighbors are aghast at the sight of two men taking swings at each other with machetes. And an Atlanta woman accuses a delivery driver of stealing her necklace.

"The Parent Slap" (9:30pm): In Georgia, a parent slaps the school bus driver after the driver refuses to let her kids off the bus. A horrified woman returns to her parked car to find that a neighbor has covered it in steaming dog poop. And uproar erupts at the weigh-in of an Ohio fishing tournament when the prize-winning anglers are accused of stuffing their catch with weights.
