Plot Synopsis

When business consultant Michi Wyss inherits his late father's troubled farm he must confront his rural past -- and his family's future. After his father passes away, Michi returns to his family's farm to help his siblings -- while his mother Katharina hides the real cause behind her husband's death. When details about a lucrative offer emerge -- along with a letter from his dead father -- Michi and the family struggle to agree on the farm's future. Michi wants to save the family's farm but his broke sister Sarah tries to sabotage his plans. When the bank denies him a loan, Michi makes a risky decision. NEW HEIGHTS made its U.S. debut on Friday, May 13, 2022, as Netflix released the entire eight-episode first season.
