Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Tan France and Alexa Chung, NEXT IN FASHION is a one-hour elimination competition series that begins with 18 designers, who face challenges centering on a different trend or design style that has influenced the way the entire world dresses. These competitors have worked for major brands and dressed A-list celebrities, and now compete head-to-head to see who has the skill, originality and determination to win the grand prize: $250,000 and an opportunity to debut their collection with luxury fashion retailer Net-a-Porter. Guest judges include: Monique Lhuillier & Eva Chen; Prabal Gurung; Phillip Lim; Kerby Jean-Raymond; Adriana Lima; Christopher Kane & Beth Ditto; Josefine Aberg; Maxwell Osborne & Dao-Yi Chow; and Tommy Hilfiger. On Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the 10-episode first season of NEXT IN FASHION.

The entire 10-episode second season of NEXT IN FASHION dropped on Friday, March 3, 2023 on Netflix. Fashion designer and TV personality Tan France is joined by new co-host Gigi Hadid. A group of up-and-coming, incredibly talented designers compete for the chance to walk away with a prize of $200,000 and the chance to share their designs with the world. This season features guest judges from every corner of the style world, including Hailey Bieber, Emma Chamberlain, Bella Hadid and Donatella Versace. The Designers are: Amari Carter, Bao Tranchi, Courtney Smith, Danny Godoy, Deontre Hancock, Desyree Nicole, Eliana Batsakis, James Ford, Megan O'Cain, Nigel Xavier, Qaysean Williams, and Usama Ishtay.
