Plot Synopsis

Based on Liane Moriarty's 2018 book of the same name, NINE PERFECT STRANGERS is an eight-episode drama series that takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation, as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living. Watching over them during this 10-day retreat is the resort's director, Masha, a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. However, these nine "perfect" strangers have no idea what is about to hit them. Executive produced by series co-writer/co-showrunner David E. Kelley, series director Jonathan Levine, and series stars Nicole Kidman & Melissa McCarthy, the first three episodes of NINE PERFECT STRANGERS drop on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 on Hulu, with a new episode debuting each Wednesday through September 22.
