Plot Synopsis

Based on a true story and based on Kristian Corfixen's book of the same name, THE NURSE is a four-part limited series that centers on Pernille, a new hospital nurse, who begins to suspect her colleague's desire for attention may be tied to a series of patient deaths. Nervous about her first shift as a nurse at a new hospital, Pernille quickly befriends her assigned mentor, the charismatic Christina. A colleague's warning causes Pernille to reassess her friendship with Christina, even as they are dubbed "the dream team" after saving a patient's life. Dismissed as a scandalmonger when attempting to alert her superiors, Pernille reaches out to a former employee to voice her unease. With support from her confidant, Pernille prepares for an intense work shift to confirm her suspicions. But the night takes an unexpected turn. All four episodes of THE NURSE dropped on Thursday, April 27, 2023 on Netflix.
