Season 1 Season 2
Plot Synopsis
Executive produced by Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson, THE OATH is a one-hour scripted drama series that explores a world of gangs made up of those sworn to protect and defend. These corrupt and secret societies are nearly impossible to join -- and only a select few make the cut -- but once inside, members will do what they must to protect each other from enemies on the outside and from within their own ranks. When a group of corrupt cops known as The Ravens are arrested, they must induct an FBI mole into their ranks or face prison. It's up to Raven leader Steve Hammond and brother Cole to hide the deal from the gang -- including their imprisoned father, Tom -- all while playing nice with the Feds. With Tom's life under threat in prison, Hammond and Cole demand that kingpin Neckbone call off his dogs. All the while, the Ravens must hide the deadly truth about Sleep, both from Neckbone and the Feds. Hammond wields leverage over Agent Byrd, who is pulled ever tighter into the Ravens' grip. THE OATH was created by Joe Halpin, who worked as a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputy in South Central for 17 years, 12 of which as an undercover officer. On Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Crackle released the entire 10-episode first season of THE OATH.

Season 2 of THE OATH premiered on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Crackle released eh entire eight-episode second season. The new season finds the Ravens attempting to free themselves from their debt to the cartel. Themes including redemption and the meaning of family are examined, pushing the characters to find a new path, conquer their inner demons and giving them one last chance to reclaim their lives as their own -- all while trying to protect the ones they love in the process.
In the season opener, "Revenge," the Ravens try to free the patriarch of the Velasquez family in an attempt to pay off their debt to the cartel. Complications pit the Ravens against a dangerous new enemy, and an impending news article threatens to put cop gangs back in the spotlight at the worst possible time.
