Plot Synopsis

Host Jeff Corwin travels with guest scientists and marine biologists to find unusual creatures of the ocean and compare their behaviors, challenges and triumphs with the human experience. From exciting rescues of abandoned animals to unexpected conflicts in the family dynamics of the mingling species, Corwin introduces all of the fascinating life teeming in Earth's oceans. For this program, Litton Entertainment teamed with Atlanta's Georgia Aquarium, the world's largest aquarium. This series is part of Litton Entertainment's programming block, "Litton's Weekend Adventure," which includes six, half-hour, hi-def educational and informational series on Saturday mornings (check local listings) on ABC affiliates across the United States. OCEAN MYSTERIES returned for its third season on Saturday, October 5, 2013, as Corwin revealed how thousands of weak, starving sea lion pups have been stranded along the beaches of Southern California.

Season 4 premiered the weekend of Saturday, October 4, 2014 on ABC, as Corwin and his two daughters visit the Georgia Aquarium where they explore some of the most spectacular marine wildlife exhibits in the world.
