Plot Synopsis

Former British Special Forces soldier Gary Humphrey and Southern California-based car fanatic Bill Wu recover red all-terrain jeeps from remote locations in Chile, using their survival and mechanical skills to withstand the elements and breakdowns on their drive back to civilization. Each vehicle has been flown in and dropped into locations where no car has gone before, and once the duo is given a tracker to find the car, their three-day adventure begins. Each 60-minute episode features a different climate -- including desert, alpine tundra, humid subtropical, oceanic, and Mediterranean -- showing how their teamwork is crucial, as they use Bill's abilities to work with and maneuver the car through plethora environments and Gary's survival skills acquired after 17 years serving in the Royal Marines and the Special Forces. Plus, with no real supplies, they use a range of techniques to survive harsh climates, even if it means they have to take ordinary parts from the car to create hunting weapons. Each episode ends with a spectacular do-or-die car challenge that requires conspicuous survival skills and supreme mechanical talent.
