Plot Synopsis

Created by Mitsuo Iso, THE ORBITAL CHILDREN is an anime series that begins in the year 2045, when AI has advanced and anyone can travel into space. Children born on the moon and children from Earth who are on a trip to space meet at the Japanese-built Anshin space station. Born on the moon, Toya half-heartedly welcomes three kids from Earth to his home in space. But during the welcome party a terrifying accident occurs. Toya and Taiyo make their way through the station to find their friends after the shockwave from the passing comet knocks out oxygen and the internet. The rabbit mascot comes to aid the children, who are trapped in a room leaking air. But to escape, the kids must walk outside in space to reach a ship. All six episodes of THE ORBITAL CHILDREN dropped on Friday, January 28, 2022 on Netflix.
