Plot Synopsis

OUR LITTLE FAMILY is a half-hour reality series that follows a family of little people, headed by Dan and Michelle Hamill, who met at a Little People of America Conference in 2004. Now, they have three children, with all five family members having achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism. Their son, Jack, is six years old, the twins, Cate and CeCe, are turning three, and all three Hamill children are becoming more aware of the fact they are different from other kids. Dan and Michelle use their own experiences to help guide their kids to overcome physical challenges and learn to adapt to the world around them. This series is full of real family obstacles -- growing up, joining extracurricular activities, sibling arguments -- and the Hamills face any challenge thrown their way with a positive attitude. OUR LITTLE FAMILY opens with Jack starting kindergarten, and Michelle worrying if he is happy and fitting in with the average-sized kids. Then, it's time for Halloween, and Michelle decides it's the perfect time to start new family traditions, so everyone dresses in costume -- even Dan! Later, Dan and Michelle celebrate their 7th anniversary, but Dan's gift misses the mark, so Michelle figures out a way to add romance to her marriage -- all while trying to potty train the girls.
On Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT, TLC premiered the second season of OUR LITTLE FAMILY. This season, Cece and Cate enroll in dance class, but their individuality shines when they realize Cece is much more of a girlie girl than Cate. Dan also shares his love of golf with Jack, and together they prepare for an annual little people golf tournament. Season 2 is packed with celebrations, including Mother's and Father's Days, birthdays and family vacations, but amidst all of the parties, Michelle decides to embrace a healthier lifestyle. Together, she and Dan learn how to cook and be more active as a family, which means training for a 5K, strawberry picking and preparing for a Maryland crab festival. The action-packed summer is all about friends, family and celebrating each other in the Hamill household. Also in Season 2, the Hamills head to Roloff Farms for a special TLC crossover episode with LITTLE PEOPLE BIG WORLD. For a few fun-filled days, Jack, Cece and Cate get some quality time with the Roloff kids, and Dan and Michelle have a chance to chat with Matt and Amy about the struggles they have overcome raising their children.
