Plot Synopsis

Using re-enactments and actual audio from 911 calls, this two-part series chronicles the most ridiculous calls ever made to real emergency hotlines. From a woman who phoned 9-1-1 on herself for driving drunk to a naked man who got his private parts stuck in a pool pump, OUTRAGEOUS 911 reveals the bizarre stories why people call 9-1-1 for odd circumstances that are far from emergencies. Other stories include: an intruder who called 9-1-1 on himself once he realized the homeowner returned home; a woman who panicked when she got locked in the attic of her house containing a raccoon; and a man who woke up handcuffed to his ex-wife after being lured to a romantic dinner invitation at her place; and many more people who phoned 9-1-1 about outrageous non-emergency situations.
