Plot Synopsis

This documentary examines the tactics used by the planet's predators that join forces with their comrades to hunt and feed in order to survive their extreme environment. In one episode, the Shiyane pack, a group of wild dogs, work together to catch prey in South Africa's Imfolozi Game Reserve, and the pack must get creative in order to feed their young and secure their next generation. In another episode, a pride of South African lions pursue zebra, impala and giraffe in the Singita Game Reserve. The first episode of THE PACK premiered in the United States on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 9pm on Nat Geo.
