Plot Synopsis

While wearing red jumpsuits with panic buttons attached, people face their fears as they attempt to navigate four mazes with ever-escalating levels of difficulty and fear factor. In each 30-minute episode, five subjects separately compete. First, they enter a white room, where a voice gives them instructions as to how to enter the first, and subsequent, levels. During the competition, participants face challenges -- darkness, spiders, snakes, being buried alive -- that were specifically chosen for them. If they complete the course without hitting the panic button, they don't win any money but they've conquered the most exciting challenge of their life.
