Plot Synopsis

Hosted by executive producer Nick Groff and co-hosted by ghost hunter Katrina Weidman, PARANORMAL LOCKDOWN is a one-hour reality series that follows the two as they confine themselves in America's most terrifying places for an unprecedented 72 hours straight. Living at haunted locations -- many of which have never before been seen on television and some being investigated for the first time ever -- Groff and Weidman believe that the longer they stay, the more the spirits will communicate with them and the more information they can gather about the unknown. "Living with the dead was a whole new experience for me and Katrina, giving us the opportunity to document some incredibly enticing evidence about the afterlife that we can't wait to reveal," said Groff. Each 60-minute episode features a different location, including: the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum in Weston, West Virginia, where Nick and Katrina capture something on their third night of confinement that is groundbreaking and completely terrifying; the Anderson Hotel in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, where not everyone checked out when it closed its doors; and more haunted places like the creepy Kreischer Mansion on Staten Island and the foreboding Franklin Castle in Cleveland.

The 12-episode second season of PARANORMAL LOCKDOWN premiered on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT on TLC, immediately following a brand-new one-hour special at 9pm and a six-hour marathon (3-9pm) of encore episodes. In the special (9pm), "Evidence Revealed," Nick and Katrina pull back the curtain on their investigations, with never-before-seen footage. Then, the season opener (10pm), "Monroe House," takes the duo inside the forbidding Monroe House in Hartford City, Ind., where ghostly happenings and evidence of ritualistic occult activity that have spooked the homeowner. Former residents and construction workers have fled the property after coming face to face with a dark entity, leaving the home uninhabitable. The genesis of the haunting is unclear, but three fires and resulting deaths in the last 100 years have not served to quell paranormal activity within the home. The intense exploration of Monroe House culminates with Nick and homeowner Eddie Norris journeying into a crawl space beneath the home and unearthing what appeared to be skeletal remains. Local law enforcement was notified immediately. Additional lockdown locations in Season 2 include: St. Ignatius Hospital (Colfax, WA) and Old Chatham County Jail (Savannah, GA) - which were opened up to paranormal investigators for the first time ever - as well as the Shanley Hotel (Napanoch, NY), Rampart Street Murder House (New Orleans), White Hill Mansion (Fieldsboro, NJ), Shrewsbury Prison (England), and the Statler City Hotel (Buffalo, NY).

Season 3 of PARANORMAL LOCKDOWN, starring famed paranormal investigator Nick Groff and beloved paranormal researcher Katrina Weidman, premieres on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 9-11pm ET/PT, with back-to-back new episodes. This season serves up an extra treat for fans with the first-ever televised paranormal investigation of the Jim Beam American Stillhouse in Clermont, KY, home of the world's #1 selling bourbon. An abundance of spooky history has been reported on the property, including unusual activity from their Stillhouse to their legendary Warehouse D, sightings of a woman in the windows at the onsite T. Jeremiah Beam home, and a known prankster, Cans Hall, who doesn't shy away from interaction. Additionally, Season 3 brings the return of a familiar location, the Monroe House in Hartford, Ind. In the second season, Groff and Weidman unearthed something sinister in a crawl space underneath the home -- skeletal remains. The question of what is haunting the Monroe House is now more of a mystery than ever. They travel back to the historic location and consult with a biological anthropologist to seek a better understanding of what's on the property and potential connections between the remains and the continued hauntings. This season also takes Groff and Weidman on an intense exploration to the "Portal to Hell" at Bobby Mackey's Music World in Wilder, KY.
