Plot Synopsis

Based on the manga by Hitoshi Iwaaki, PARASYTE: THE GREY is a six-episode sci-fi drama series that's set in a new locale with fresh characters, while maintaining the world and message of the original manga. When unidentified parasites violently take over human hosts and gain power, humanity must rise to combat the growing threat. At the center of the story is Su-in, who grapples with her newfound coexistence with a parasite. But the parasites have the ability to control humans and make them do things -- like make them kill -- so the government creates an aggressive anti-parasite task force. "Team Grey," led by the coldhearted Choi Jun-kyung, is a group dedicated to fighting mysterious parasites that live off humans. Su-in is the only one who's been able to maintain some of her humanity while still being half mutant. Will she be able to thwart Team Grey in order to survive? All six episodes of PARASYTE: THE GREY dropped on Friday, April 5, 2024 on Netflix.
