Plot Synopsis

Lauren Lake, a legal and relationship expert, presides over this daily syndicated courtroom series, as she helps litigants resolve legal issues involving paternity using DNA results. Even though Lake is a member of the New York, New Jersey and Michigan bars with concentrations in family, criminal, and entertainment law, she's not a judge and her decisions are considered non-binding mediation. In each 30-minute episode, Lake hears one case, including these paternity stories: a woman, who brings her mother to court to learn which of 13 men is her biological father; a veteran, who is distraught because his wife cheated on him while he was in Afghanistan and fears that her daughter is not his; and many more. PATERNITY COURT returned for its second season on Monday, September 22, 2014 with a new name, LAUREN LAKE'S PATERNITY COURT, shortly after the show moved its production to Atlanta, Georgia. In Season 2, Lauren continues to help families come together to sort out complicated relationships and find resolution in their lives.

Season 3 of LAUREN LAKE'S PATERNITY COURT premiered on Monday, September 21, 2015 (check local listings for channel and time). The Season 3 premiere week features a celebrity-themed episode with BET reality stars Frankie and Elite who star in the reality series FRANKIE & NEFFE. The mother and daughter appear in an emotional episode revealing DNA test results for Elite and reuniting them with Lake, who served as their motivational coach on a previous season of their BET show.
