Plot Synopsis

PAUL HOLLYWOOD'S BIG CONTINENTAL ROAD TRIP is a one-hour series that follows celebrity chef and avid auto enthusiast Paul Hollywood, as he takes in the cars and culture of France, Italy and Germany. In each 60-minute episode, Paul travels to a different country. In Rome, Paul learns how to drive like an Italian with Lamborghini fan Bruno Tonioli. Later, a trip to the Alps requires a very different kind of car. Then, spicy sausage, speedy vehicles and nature-loving nudists are on the menu as Paul tours Germany with comedians Al Murray and Christian Schulte-Loh. Finally, Paul explores the intersecting philosophies of cars and cuisine on an illuminating visit to the City of Lights and beyond. PAUL HOLLYWOOD'S BIG CONTINENTAL ROAD TRIP had its U.S. premiere on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released three episodes.
