Plot Synopsis

PAW PATROL is an animated series that teaches young children about critical thinking, social emotion, and pet care, as this action-adventure program follows a tech-savvy 10-year-old boy, Ryder, and six heroic puppies, who work together to help and protect the residents of Adventure Bay. All of the dogs have special Pup Packs on their backs to help them handle anything -- from rescuing kittens to saving a train from a rockslide. Ryder, the team leader, rescued all the pups and taught them their PAW Patrol skills, and during his rescues he uses a high-tech jet ski that transforms into an ATV and a snowmobile. The six pups are: Rocky, a mix-breed pup, that has a thousand ideas and ways to reuse materials -- and always has just the thing to save the day; Rubble, an English bulldog, that has loads of cool tools, including a construction digger, and loves getting dirty while digging his way out of trouble; Zuma, a water-loving Chocolate Lab, that lives in his boathouse and dives into action in his hovercraft; Marshall, a Dalmatian fire pup, that is easily excited, but is the clumsy one of the group; Chase, a German Shepard police pup, that is an athletic natural leader who likes to take charge, but is allergic to cats and birds; and Skye, a Cockapoo, that loves to fly in her helicopter or with the wings in her pup pack. Plus, Ryder and the pups are joined by humans, like mountain ranger Jake, Katie, and young Alex. Nickelodeon partnered with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) to develop this program.

On Friday, August 20, 2021, "PAW Patrol: The Movie" dropped on Paramount+. The PAW Patrol is on a roll...in their first big-screen adventure, an 86-minute movie. When their rival, Humdinger, becomes Mayor of nearby Adventure City and starts wreaking havoc, Ryder and the heroic pups kick into high gear to face the most challenging mission of their PAW Patrol careers. Along the way, the team finds help from a new ally, the savvy dachshund Liberty, and together the PAW Patrol fights to save the citizens of Adventure City! Can the PAW Patrol save the city before it's too late? After all, no city's too big, no pup's too small!
