Plot Synopsis

Taraji P Henson and her best friend Tracie bring mental health out of the shadows. With personal stories of the Black community and through honest, profound conversation about mental health issues, PEACE OF MIND provides support and tools from therapists and doctors to help work through them. In the series opener, "PTSD with Gabrielle Union: Not Just For Combat Vets," actress Gabrielle Union shares how being raped at gunpoint sparked her condition and why 2020 has been so triggering. The second guest talks about suffering from PTSD following an abusive relationship, while Taraji opens up about how PTSD has personally touched her family.

On Monday, October 11, 2021 at Noon ET/9am PT, Facebook Watch released "Slaying Adversity with Megan Thee Stallion," the Season 2 debut of PEACE OF MIND WITH TARAJI. Megan Thee Stallion shares how she has overcome so much adversity in her life and still maintains a positive outlook. Amber Morino tells how she overcame childhood abuse and the difficult years she faced in the foster care system.
