Plot Synopsis

In this interactive series, Penn and Teller spin outrageous tales for home viewers. While most of these wildly unbelievable stories are absolutely true, one of them is a big fat lie -- and it's up to the viewers to decide which fable is false. Penn and Teller will tell spectacular stories like these: a butter knife that can stop a speeding bullet; using bacon to melt steel; a man who can run faster than a racehorse; a jet engine that can blow out a forest fire; a head of human hair that can lift a car; wallpaper that can stop a wrecking ball; piranha will not kill people; a linen shirt that can stop and arrow; and many more tales. During each 60-minute program, home viewers can launch the "Guess the Lie" experience at Discovery.com or on their iPads or iPhones. Viewers can the select "True" or "Lie" for each story, as Penn and Teller discuss them, and they can change their votes as often as they like throughout the program. At the end of each episode, Penn and Teller will reveal the final results, with different results for East Coast and West Coast airings.
