Plot Synopsis

In each 30-minute episode, three Cooking Channel chefs each share their favorite recipe for a single dish, and one home-recipe contest winner joins Kelsey Nixon in studio. Episodes include: Cakes from Ina Garten (classic chocolate cake infused with a cup of brewed coffee and topped with a chocolate buttercream frosting), Giada De Laurentiis (Parma-style carrot cake topped with a bit of powdered sugar), and Paula Deen (red velvet cake with a creamy coconut pecan icing); Pancakes from Tyler Florence (cheesy buttermilk ricotta pancakes), Giada De Laurentiis (parmesan potato pancakes with an Italian twist), Bobby Flay (Johnnycakes topped with smoked trout and horseradish creme fraiche), and Sunny Anderson (creamy peanut butter and jelly pancakes); Tacos from Michael Chiarello (spicy chicken tacos), Roger Mooking (pork and shrimp tacos filled with water chestnuts, creamy avocado, and a tomato salsa), and Ingrid Hoffman (Pacific codfish tacos with a chipotle tartar sauce); Chili from Tyler Florence (Texas-style chili con carne with marbled beef shoulder with a side of creamy corn pudding), Michael Chiarello (chicken and white bean chili), and Roger Mooking (zesty ground beef okra ghili with beer); Burgers from Tyler Florence (beef brisket burger with bacon, onions, & swiss), Giada De Laurentiis (tuna burger with tapenade), and Roger Mooking (five spice lamb burgers topped with aioli, cucumber relish, and tomato); and Salads from Kelsey Nixon (classic cobb salad), Bobby Flay (peach and arugula salad), Emeril Lagasse (hearty chicken salad with fresh herbs and pecans), and Debi Mazar and Gabriele Corcos (panzanella).
