Plot Synopsis

Two in-studio co-hosts, Lara Logan and Charlie Rose, interview public figures, who appear via satellite from their private homes. Conversation is the primary focus, allowing the celebrities to lead the discussion, introduce friends and family members, and show off items of personal or professional significance. The program is taped and edited, unlike Edwin R. Murrow's original PERSON TO PERSON, which aired live interviews. Guests for this new version include: George Clooney, at his Los Angeles home; Warren Buffett, from his office in Omaha, Nebraska; Jon Bon Jovi, in the music room at his residence on the Navesink River in New Jersey; and many other musical artists, actors, directors, political leaders and newsmakers. On February 8, 2012 at 8pm ET/PT, CBS aired the first installment of PERSON TO PERSON as a television special.
