Plot Synopsis

Pete Griffiths, a twenty-something sports journalist, is struggling with his professional and personal lives, all while two obnoxious professional sports commentators -- anchor man Colin King and former international soccer player Terry McIlroy -- provide play-by-play and color commentary about his every move. Pete is basically an average guy; however, he's slightly above average when it comes to lying, selfishness, and being socially awkward. Whether he's inadvertently impressing a young lady with his commitment to green issues, meeting an attractive older lady at an art auction and becoming her boy toy, or revealing intimate details of his friend's sex life at a party, Pete is rarely introspective, which is why King and McIlroy dissect and comment on the mundanities of his life. DirecTV's Audience Network aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 10pm ET/PT, showing back-to-back episodes.
