Plot Synopsis

THE POOL MASTER is a one-hour reality series that follows world-class natural pool designer Anthony Archer-Wills, as he and his team -- lead contractor Dave Duensing and excavator Ed Kading -- design and build jaw-dropping, unique pools that emulate the beauty of nature. In each 60-minute episode, Anthony works with a different client, creating a pool that reflects the personalities of the people who will swim in it. In this series, Anthony and his team build: an adrenaline-filled cliffside pool, complete with natural beach entry, rushing waterfall, a massive diving-rock and splashdown zipline; a self-cleaning pool that uses no chemicals, because the water oasis will also be used to grow edible plants for a restaurant owner and his family; and many more pools the combine the wishes of his clients with the beauty of the natural surroundings.
On Friday, April 3, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT on Animal Planet, THE POOL MASTER returned for its six-episode second season. This season, Anthony and his team meet new clients with this concept in mind: to turn their run-of-the-mill backyards into jaw-dropping natural pool paradises, which exude utter tranquility, charm and artistry -- that is if Anthony's ideas don't go over budget. Immediately before the Season 2 premiere, Animal Planet premiered a one-hour special, "Best Builds," during which Anthony Archer-Wills presents the best bits of the first season of POOL MASTER, as well as never before seen footage and behind the scenes antics from the first three episodes
