Plot Synopsis

PROTECTION COURT is a half-hour syndicated daytime series that features Judge Carroll Kelly ruling on real-life cases where victims seek court-ordered protection. Every year hundreds of thousands of terrified victims fearing for their safety and often their lives, turn to the legal system for protection. This court-ordered relief comes in the form of a restraining order. Judge Kelly hears over 80 cases a week and the cases that come through her court run the range of human experience. Her rulings are a last resort victims who seek the court's protection. Judge Kelly is an Administrative Judge in the Domestic Violence Division of Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida (Miami, FL).
