Plot Synopsis

Filmed on a road course at Carolina Motorsports Park in South Carolina, rednecks driving American muscle cars battle import drivers, as they compete in a three-round battle for the $10,000 prize -- and the chance to show that rednecks drive fastest. Whether a '70 Ford Fairlane takes on a Lamborghini Gallardo or '69 Camaro races against a BMW X5 M, the Mullet Mafia defends the honor of the American muscle car in this winner-take-all road racing event, while having fun off the course as they race dirt bikes, drive golf carts, or play paintball. The Mullet Mafia, a collection of the best redneck mechanics and drivers, includes Bill Howell, Kyle Tucker, Joel Vandiver, JB Junior Granger, Eddie Key, Keith Maney, and Jimmy Kerlin. Plus, NASCAR driver Kenny Wallace, DUKES OF HAZZARD's John Schneider, The Car Chick LeeAnn Shattuck, and many more celebs make appearances as guest drivers. SPEED aired a sneak-peek episode of this series on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 10pm ET, immediately following the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race. Three days later, SPEED presented the official series premiere at 9pm ET on Monday, February 25.
