Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by Drew Barrymore, RATTLED is a one-hour reality series that follows four couples who are new parents, as they experience a wide range of challenges, triumphs and milestones during the first year of their newborns' lives. Whether it is balancing work and their newborn, feeling pressure from family members' about how they think the baby should be raised, or making sure that their relationships with their significant others remain intact, the couples face different circumstances as they navigate how their new baby fits into their already established lives. The four couples are: Doug & Marsadie, whose baby creates big conflict in Doug and Marsadie's relationship -- she struggles to bond with her baby the way she expected she would and he wasn't expecting to become a father again after having three daughters from his previous marriage; Jason & Kristina, both have Type A personalities and owners of a childcare agency together, are determined to not let the baby alter their working lifestyles, but still fear that they will lose who they are once the baby is born; Sal & Destiny, who worry the opinions of their vastly different families will escalate once the baby is born, and may not line up with how they want to raise their child; and Tyson & Ashley, who struggled through a long infertility battle, with a small chance of getting pregnant, and are now expecting four babies -- two sets of identical twins. The series opens with Ashley & Tyson awaiting their high risk quadruplets' birth and Doug & Mars racing to the hospital in early labor; meanwhile, Kristina & Jason attempt to craft a meticulous birth plan. The 10-episode second season of RATTLED premiered on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 10pm ET/PT on TLC. Season 2 follows these couples: Aly and Josh, high school sweethearts whose family came to be because of a true miracle when Aly, a stage 3 cancer survivor was shocked to find out she's pregnant after years of infertility, and that's not even the end of this couple's unbelievable story; champion pro wrestler Brooke and Weston, who struggle over who will be the breadwinner and if Brooke will be able to return to her beloved career; Krystal and Jarrel, who unexpectedly found out they were pregnant after breaking up, and get off to a problematic start as Jarrel doesn't believe he is the father. RATTLED also catches up with some of the previous season's couples, including Ashley and Tyson Gardner and their "quad squad" as the girls continue to hit more milestone moments and the family realizes they have outgrown their house. Also returning is Doug and Marsadie, who endured intense arguments last season during and after the birth of their baby girl. Marsadie hopes Doug will start taking his new life seriously, and fully commit to her by proposing. Season 3 of RATTLED premiered on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 10:05pm ET/PT on TLC. Season 3 provides an in-depth look at the trials and tribulations of five couples as they learn to deal with parenting, relationships, finances and so much more. The families featured this season include:

- Josh & Aly (West Monroe, LA): After sharing their story of surviving breast cancer and building a miracle family last season, Josh and Aly have gotten over some of life's biggest hurdles, but their hard work is far from over. With three girls under the age of the three running around the house, Josh and Aly continue to experience big milestones and constant chaos.

- Matt & Jamielynn (Portland, OR): Matt and Jamielynn met at a country bar and instantly connected over their quick wit and love of the wilderness. Matt has a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter from a previous marriage, and Jamielynn lost her first child in a previous pregnancy. When Matt and Jamielynn found out they were expecting, they were overjoyed at the thought of creating a family together. As Matt looks forward to giving his daughter a younger sibling, he and Jamielynn must work to build a strong life for their soon-to-be-born son.

- Matthew & Autumn (San Diego, CA): Being very spontaneous people, Matthew and Autumn casually married in court only a year after meeting each other as seniors in high school. Their financial struggles have led the two to take residence in a small sailboat with their dog. Unfortunately, pregnancy caused a rise in tension that split the couple apart. With a daughter on the way, Autumn and Matthew must come together to work on their relationship so they can provide for their child and each other.

- Raymond & Mariah (San Jose, CA): Although Raymond and Mariah were only together three weeks before Mariah became pregnant, the couple has always been inseparable. The road to childbirth has been very trying, but both have accepted their future roles as parents. Raymond, who was abandoned by his father when he was young, is especially determined to stay and raise his child. Now, living with Mariah's mom, the two are still trying to get to know each other so they can raise this baby together.

- Ryan & Julia (Dallas, TX): As middle school sweethearts, Ryan and Julia have spent years growing their love for each other and their strong faith. They have always been by each other's side, quite literally since they share church offices next to each other. Their beliefs were heavily tested, however, after Julia had three miscarriages. Now on her fourth pregnancy with triplets, the two must channel their faith and prepare for what could happen.

On Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 10pm ET/PT, TLC premiered "Time to Break Free," the Season 3 finale of RATTLED. The Sadler triplets are out of the woods and are free to meet the world. Autumn and Matthew say goodbye to the boat and try to figure out how to co-parent. Mariah and Raymond finally leave Barb's house. Matt makes a decision on proposing to Jamielynn.
